On Saturday, May 9, 2026, Space GO hosted its first event ever. The Bike Swap brought the community together for a joyful day of sharing, movement, and connection.
Throughout the event, tens of bikes and scooters were swapped or donated—from toddler tricycles and scooters to bikes of all sizes. Families browsed, kids tried out rides, and the space buzzed with music, bubbles, and excitement.
We were especially grateful to the amazing men from our community who showed up with tools, offering on‑site bike check‑ins, oiling chains, and inflating tires. Their support helped ensure bikes were safe and ready to ride, giving families extra peace of mind.
Many families shared how much they loved the idea of a bike swap, noting how quickly children outgrow bikes and active gear. One family living across from the school even noticed our bike swap sign and stopped by to donate bikes and gear they no longer needed—a simple moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
It was truly heartwarming to see neighbours helping neighbours and a community coming together to support children’s active living in such a practical, meaningful way.
